Instructor / Customer Service Representative

Who We Are:  Zinta Inspired Language is a highly rated international language and cross-cultural training center.  We are a 24-year-old private language school that has a loyal customer following and high student continuation rates.

Who We Are Looking For:  Energetic, positive, creative, dependable, and highly trainable bilingual individual who wants to share their language and cultural knowledge with others. 

Languages:  Spanish/English (other languages a plus)

Requirements:  Must have computer skills, and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications Must have reliable transportation. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Hours: 20 hours per week beginning with the option of more hours as you are trained to teach additional classes.  The hours will be split between teaching and office tasks to help grow our school.    

Training:  Zinta has a comprehensive instructor training program with curriculum built for each class.  We will teach you what you need to know in the best and most current instructional strategies, how to hold an outstanding language training, and how to maintain a high continuation rate for your students.  We hold both in-person classes in Galveston, TX as well as live-distance classes online.  We will train you so no prior teaching knowledge is required.

Our training program will start you out with pre-training skills such as instructional strategies, and questioning skills.  After you have mastered the pre-training skills, you will work with 1-2 students and supervisor as you learn hands-on how to master a high-quality language class.  After you are comfortable with the curriculum, content, and instructional strategies, you will become a “Zinta Certified Instructor”. 

Instructor Duties: The following are just some of the duties required as a Zinta Instructor:

  • Hold high-quality in-person and live-online training courses.
  • Complete all pre and post tasks for classes such as set up, emails, etc.
  • Complete daily and weekly duties such as keeping calendar and rosters up
    to date, filling out reflection sheets, etc.
  • Communicate externally with students in and out of class.
  • Communicate internally with schedules, questions, and concerns.
  • Attend required meetings and periodic check-ins with supervisor.
  • Maintain Zinta’s high reputation of quality language training.

Marketing Task Duties: The following are just some of the “office support” duties
you will accomplish:

  • Attend weekly marketing meeting.
  • Help to develop emails for content marketing.
  • Help to develop tic toc and YouTube videos.
  • Help build class supplements.
  • Assist the customer service team with customer questions.
  • Attend networking events with the customer service team.
  • Complete tasks for event planning.
